A while ago, something totally crazy unexpected happened to u/elchapoguzmannn as he ran into his ex on a train after 10 years. Of all the coincidences, they ended up with adjacent berths. At first, it was awkward, but soon they got talking, catching up on everything, and even added each other back on social media.
This brought back a flood of memories, especially the time he proposed to her a decade ago in true Bollywood style—standing in front of her house with a chocolate in hand. Fast forward to the train ride, she casually mentioned wanting a chocolate. That simple comment sparked something in them, and he decided to get her one, no matter what.
Every station they stopped at seemed to have everything but chocolate. Determined, u/elchapoguzmannn stayed up until 4 AM, hopping off at a junction where, finally, he found it. When he handed her the chocolate, her smile lit up just like it had all those years ago. That same sweetness, those familiar eyes—it hit him how much he had missed her.
Now, she’s coming over to his place, and he’s all set to make her Butter Chicken. He’s excited, hopeful, and maybe a little nervous, but it’s clear that reconnecting with her has been something truly special.
